Ready Russian: Phrasebook 8—Getting to Know People

Use the expressions in this phrasebook to learn more about your new friends. The word-for-word translations of the Russian phrases in the left-hand column are to help you to understand where the Russian mode of expression differs from the English. The Russian questions are shown first in ты (thou) and then in вы (you) form except in a few cases where the ты form would not make sense and so is omitted.
